The 1/10 scale Traxxas Stampede VXL RC Truck comes in both 2WD (the more affordable version) and a 4x4 version as well.  Although the VXL 4x4 brushless motor version is more expensive, if you're looking to run over extremely large obstacles, it's generally preferred, however don't be fooled, even the two wheel drive version handles most off-road terrain well, due to it's extremely high clearance and large tires!
