Yes, it's available!  The vintage Tamiya Hotshot 4WD buggy was originally released in 1985 however it has been re-released!  This was one of the best buggies you could get your hands on back in the 80s and today for that matter!  There are many reasons why this is a good model for racing and collectors alike.  For those new to the hobby, if you really want to see what an RC car can do, 4x4 traction and acceleration is a must!

The Tamiya Hotshot is a shaft driven 4WD buggy that laughs at most tracks with it's superior handling and acceleration.  Okay lets face it, 4x4 traction and power is superior to 2WD any day and this one has it!  This one was built from the ground up to compete and win races!  Tamiya learned a lot about making cars handle better in the 80s and became a pro at making them!  Learning from their famous 2WD Frog buggy racing model they released a few years prior, the Hotshot also took advantage of a better center of gravity and weight disbursement design, a superior double wishbone suspension and then some, such as adding mono-shocked oil dampers.  This was Tamiya's answer to other 4wd competitors at the time such as the Kyosho Optima.
