The re-released Tamiya Frog 1/10 scale buggy is a replicate of the vintage version made in the 80s (released in 1983).  It handles the turns well (buggies tend to have a better center of gravity than most RC trucks) and it handles both on-road and off-road tracks with ease!  Tamiya also produced similar variations to this 2WD buggy to include the Hornet and Grasshopper, however the Frog was the best racer of the three.  Today you have option of buy it in a kit form or a fully assembled XB RTR version.

The Tamiya Frog was the overall winner in their RC buggy line because of it's superior handling and improved suspension.  It recovers from jumps better, handles bumps/off-road terrain with greater speed, and curves better then either the Grasshopper or the Hornet because of how it was built.  The main reason for it's racing attributes are it's 4-wheel independent suspension with "double" front wishbone and steel arms for support.  The suspension setup is probably the strongest part of the car, but it's often the most important for handling and winning the races.  The Tamiya Frog also used a heavy duty molded plastic to save weight, add impact resistance, and strength to the chassis.  It also strategically maintains a great center of gravity and handles turns better by placing the battery (heaviest part of the RC car) at the bottom and a lightweight polycarbonate body on top.
