The vintage Tamiya Bruiser 4x4 Toyota truck is perfect for collectors, especially those that remember this RC model as a kid.  This is one of the most valuable RC trucks due to it being extremely well built with genuine metal parts, a high detail to realism, and a real 3 speed transmission makes for a whole new class of quality!  When you lift on of these up, you know right away it's more solid, with its metal all metal frame and parts it weighs in a full 11 pounds!

In addition to the Tamiya Bruiser, there were three other vintage RC truck models in this series with a real, working 3 speed transmission to include the Hilux, Mountaineer and the Chevy Blazing Blazer.  They all used a similar chassis and transmission, the main difference being the type of truck they're modeled after.  Today is extremely difficult to find RC trucks with even a real 2 speed transmission, can you imagine how special a 3 speed (controlled on the fly by the radio transmitter) is? 

Because the vintage Tamiya Bruiser is a special model and their rare to find today, they tend to be more expensive to collect, however at our site we have some of the best prices you'll find on the net for them.  Collectors please note, in addition to the condition/shape of this R/C model itself, the radio transmitter is also critical for its value.  This is mainly due to the fact the original radio transmitter (with a 3rd channel) is needed to switch the gears remotely.
