The HPI Firestorm is a ready to run (RTR) 2WD RC nitro stadium truck, meant for hardcore racing.  Note, there are also an Electric version as well, for those that aren't into nitro.  R/C stadium trucks are more of a "truggy" design, meaning they have both truck and buggy attributes.  The HPI Firestorm is great for both on and off road racing.  It taughts an exceptional low center of gravity, yet high enough for off road tracks and it's tires seem to handle both loose and hard pavement terrain very well!  It's ready to go with an all metal transmission and a very powerful Nitro Star G3.0 engine that have been known to reach speeds of 48mph!  As with most HPI products, their models may not have quite as high of a top speed in their stock form, however they are much better suited than most brands for R/C racing due to better handling, great accelerations, and better designed features for racing.  Just like any RC model, you can also upgrade their engines and/or change gearing for even more speed, if necessary, however for the powerful engine and the racing attributes it has out of the box, it's one of the best values out there!   

The HPI Firestorm 10t is the current RTR version with a 2.4Ghz radio, however be aware there are also some that come with an 27mhz AM radio (which is not recommend for contest racing, due to their lack of available channels and interference issues) which are slightly more affordable.  If you're just parking lot driving alone, this may not be an issue though, otherwise you should check out the 10t RTR versions which also have the 2.4Ghz radios with them, for sale at the link below.  Most of the HPI Firestorm nitro stadium trucks for sale at the link below, do come with the 2.4 GHz radio.  Also if you find the nitro sound annoying, also check out the electric flux of this truck as well!
