The HPI Baja 1/5th scale series come in both buggy and short course racing truck forms.  This series is the company's large scale off-road racing class with real sized gasoline engines!  Keep in mind 1/5 scale is much larger than the average RC car.  These models are approx 3 feel long with real gasoline engines, so extra care should be considered for safety.   This larger scale makes for more fun and this series very popular worldwide, however due to their larger size and performance, they're significantly more expensive than normal-sized RC cars and not recommended for young children.  Definitely designed for racing, even lightly modified stock versions clock 60 mph plus, however heavily modified versions have surpassed 100mph!

The HPI Baja series comes in the following 1/5 scale buggy and short course truck racing variations to choose from, which include the 5t, 5B, 5sc, 5b ss, and 5sc ss.  A short explanation of each model is also below:

Baja 5B - Off-road racing buggy designed for speed.

Baja SS - Super sport "kit" version of the 5b model above, but with extra hop-ups for more performance.

Baja 5T - Short course racing truck version,

Baja 5SC - Short course racing truck version, basically the same as the Baja 5T, but with a more official short course racing truck body and some minor body improvements (better bumpers, hubs, and similar).  Otherwise pretty much the same truck as the Baja 5T

Baja 5SC SS - Super Sport kit version - Same as the model above, except in a kit form with an upgraded Fuelie 26s engine.
