The HPI Baja 5t is a large sized (1/5th scale) 2WD racer!  It's an off-road RC racing machine with a body modeled (in both white or black colored versions) after the full sized dessert trucks.  It's RTR (Ready to Run) right out of box with a massive sized 26cc gasoline engine which in stock form, right out of the box reaches speeds in excess of 40mph!  They are often modified with upgrades to go much faster, however.   

The HPI Baja 5t is made to be rugged, this nearly 3 foot truck has an aluminum alloy chassis and many aluminum anodized parts.  It's amazing seeing this large scale 1/5 truck take on jumps and with it's decent sized gas tank, you get a good 30 minute run without refueling!  The transmission also includes all metal gears and real metal disk brakes!  The RTR version also comes with a 2.4ghz radio system, so all you need is some unleaded gas and some batteries for the radio transmitter!'

Another neat feature is the HPI Baja 5T also comes with side and engine dirt guards to help keep everything clean and more maintenance free.  The gas engine start up is also easy to get to (no lifting the body needed to access the pull string), so makes things nice and easy compared to nitro engines on smaller scale RC cars and trucks today.
